So here it is, the best rice cooker I have ever owned:
The Miracle Rice Cooker has been a great investment along with a 25 pound bag of brown rice every few months. This cooker was the only one I could find with a cooking bowl that was not coated in “non-stick Teflon” and was actually stainless steel. The rice cooker works great and I don’t have to worry about Teflon chipping off into food or the environment.
There are many “Rice Cookers” for sale. But not all rice cookers are created equal. Some rice cookers claim to be “stainless steel” while they really aren’t. They may have stainless steel paneling on the outside but the cooking bowl is still coated with “non-stick Teflon” which chips, peels, off-gases and ends up in the rice after regular use and washing. I owned a Teflon coated rice cooker at one time and the rice still stuck to the bottom of the cooking bowl. Great job, Teflon…
